with Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley. This was when she was running for President. This was taken 4 blocks from where I live . . .
There was a time when I wanted to be a journalistic photographer. I have several friends who are journalistic photographers. One of the things we talk about when we're sitting around having a few beers, is that with a camera, you can make a public figure look very good or very bad. In this image, then-Senator Clinton was waving to a friend in the crowd. I wasn't trying to make her look bad . . . Maybe I'll post a nicer photo of her next time . . . As for "looking bad": being captured in funny postures is often used in PR to make the person's image more "common", closer to people.
Such shots show that she's also human, and subject to emotions. In case a politician reacts with a sense of humour to such things, it is commonly regarded as an obvious advantage.
So don't blame yourself, you did her a favour

I love how different people interprete art very differently. It amazing how someone pays attention to a certain detail while the other compleatly overlooks it.
