Well, not really. . . But they clearly think I'm doing something really suspicious. If you don't know what a 7-11 is, consider yourself fortunate. It's an American chain of "convenience" stores where they sell mostly, well, crap.
As many of you know, I've hardly posted much of anything on dA all summer because I've been working on a black & white film photography project on my hometown of Baltimore, with 3 other photographers from the film collective in Washington, DC that I joined 3 years ago.
So, what is it that I've done to make the clerks at 7-11 so suspicious Well, I go into the same 7-11 and buy 6 gallons jugs of water at a time - 3 times a week. Each times there is a different clerk behind the counter, and each time they ask me: "What are you going to do with all that water?" And each time I tell them that I use distilled water to mix film development chemicals, and that most of the water is for washing all of the black & white film that I've been shooting all summer. I still don't think they believe me. I think I might just start making up stories, and acting really suspicious, just to see how they react!
All of that is to say that the reason I've posted so little and have been unusually bad at replying to Comments is that I've been so busy shooting, developing film and scanning negatives, that I haven't been on deviantArt as much as I would like. But my shooting for the Project is ending, so I should be back more regularly very soon!
